EKL/LS Ltd. (previous name EKL/LPS) was founded in January 1992. The main activities of the company in those times were transportation and metalwork production. Currently main activities: transportation services - EKL/LS LS is an Authorized Service Contractor of UPS on the territory of Latvian Republic. metalcutting tools - the subdivision of EKL/LS - Advisory Engineering Center EKL TOOLS - is the main distributor of the entire rank of highly-efficient metal-cutting tools' producers on the territory of Baltic States. 	SGS Tool Company, the USA - hard alloyed metal-cutting tools in bodies of revolution: shank cutters, burs, drills, reamers and other analogous tools.
	ISCAR, Israel - different groups of hard alloyed and ceramic metal-cutting tools: turning, milling, boring, threading and precessional accessory tools.

POKOLM-VOHA, Germany - high-production tools of milling groups for manufacturing of dies and moulds (shank and end mill cutters with hard alloyed plates, adapters, extensions and cones).

HANITA, Israel from a group of Kennametal Hertel E.DG. - high-cutting (mainly from HSS alloy) tools - cutters, drills and taps.

NorthAmerican Tool Corporation, the USA - threading tools: taps, dies, gauges according to all standards of the USA and Europe including hard alloyed taps and drills-taps.
